Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at Marble Inn Resort, Steadybrook. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, honesty.
Working Conditions:

This is a casual position with a variable schedule, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 30 hours per week.
