SAP Security Governance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Architect with a minimum of 8 years in the field to enhance our team. The successful candidate will be tasked with safeguarding the security and integrity of our SAP environments, developing and enforcing security protocols, and offering expert advice on SAP security methodologies.

Position Overview: The SAP Security Architect will be pivotal in protecting our SAP systems and sensitive data, ensuring adherence to security regulations, and spearheading security initiatives.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee user access and permissions within SAP environments
  • Design and manage security roles and profiles across various SAP applications
  • Perform risk evaluations and implement risk reduction strategies
  • Ensure alignment with both internal and external security regulations
  • Lead security initiatives for SAP implementations and system upgrades
  • Create and uphold security policies and operational procedures
  • Monitor SAP systems for potential security incidents and execute corrective measures
  • Conduct security evaluations and deliver comprehensive reports with actionable insights
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security practices effectively
  • Provide training and support to end-users on security-related topics

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in SAP Security management
  • Demonstrated success in deploying SAP security measures in large-scale organizations
  • Thorough understanding of SAP security principles
  • Experience with SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions
  • Expertise in SAP user management
  • Relevant certifications in SAP Security
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with S/4HANA security protocols
  • Knowledge of recognized security frameworks
  • Experience with SAP Fiori security configurations
