Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Waste Management Operator to join our team at Impact Staffing Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating various vehicles and equipment to collect and transport waste to designated facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Operate garbage trucks and other equipment to collect and transport waste
  • Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial areas
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals
Requirements
  • DZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and on-call schedules
  • Availability to work 35 to 50 hours per week
Working Conditions

This role involves working in hot, odorous, and wet/damp environments. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
