Job Title: Waste Management Driver

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Waste Management Driver to join our team at Impact Staffing Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various vehicles and equipment to collect and transport waste to designated facilities. This is a temporary position with a variable schedule, requiring flexibility and a willingness to work on-call.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate garbage trucks and other equipment to collect and transport waste
  • Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor
  • Work in a variety of locations, including hot, odorous, and wet/damp environments
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including bending, crouching, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Wear steel-toed safety boots and follow all safety protocols
Requirements:
  • DZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar field
  • Flexibility and availability for shift or on-call work
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
