Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our game engine and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality software components that meet the needs of our game development teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize engineering requirements.
  • Develop and maintain our procedural content workflow tools, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and meet the needs of our content creators.
  • Work closely with our game development teams to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our game engine and tools.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on game engine development.
  • Excellent knowledge of C#, C++, and Python programming languages.
  • Experience working with game content importing, exporting, and pipeline transformations.
  • Experience working with WPF or other desktop UI frameworks.
  • Experience with multithreaded programming and debugging.
  • Experience working with a team of engineers to deliver software applications.
