About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by facilitating collaboration, removing impediments, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and risk management strategies
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members on Agile principles and practices
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 7 years of industry experience in software development or delivery
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
