Job Title: Snow Removal Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Snow Removal Equipment Operator to join our team at Rockland Landscaping Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our winter maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating snow removal equipment to ensure safe and efficient snow removal operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate snow removal equipment, including snowplows and snow blowers, to clear snow from roads, sidewalks, and other areas.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced winter environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve winter maintenance goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and gloves required.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience operating snow removal equipment.
  • Knowledge of winter maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
