About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repairer to join our team at Kia of Brockville. As an Auto Body Repairer, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Plan and execute repair work, including replacing front end components, body components, and underbody components
  • Clean and maintain workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to achieve a flawless finish
  • Repair or replace interior components, including windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Mix and apply paint to match original colors
  • Operate soldering equipment and use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Requirements
  • Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • 2 years of experience in the automotive body repair industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and materials
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
