Job Summary

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials and supplies for our manufacturing operations. This includes reviewing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies.
    • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Contract Management
    • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure fair pricing and terms.
    • Manage contract renewals and terminations as needed.
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
    • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis and supplier performance.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
