- Assist Clients/Guests with Special Needs: Provide assistance and support to clients and guests with special needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Emergency Situations: Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency situations, responding promptly and effectively to ensure the safety of all individuals involved.
- Co-ordinate Activities: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and effective collaboration.
- Progress Reports: Prepare and submit progress reports to management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Work Problems: Identify and resolve work problems, providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of security personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Staff Training: Train security personnel in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Office and Volunteer Staff: Supervise office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our security team.
- Certifications: Possess a valid Security Guard License and CPR Certificate.
- Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a security-related role.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Veterans: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Support for Mature Workers: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
Language of Work: English
Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week
