About the Job

Habitat Habanero Yard and Garden Care is seeking a reliable and skilled Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Landscape Construction: Assist with the construction of outdoor landscapes, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the appearance of outdoor spaces by cutting grass, raking leaves, and collecting refuse.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including chain saws, gravel or dump trucks, and small engine equipment.
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including on-site customer service and communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, punctuality, hardworking.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, wet/damp, noisy, dusty, hot.
