We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Oakel City Floor Plus Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing merchandise for resale, negotiating prices and terms with suppliers, and maintaining adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Arrange products according to planogram to ensure optimal display and sales.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, considering factors such as quality, price, and availability.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay informed about new products and trends.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organized and analytical with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
