Responsibilities include defining project scopes, aligning with client business objectives, developing timelines, and collaborating with Sales on product applications and specifications.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in our well-appointed office. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional extended hours as project demands arise. We offer a hybrid work model that includes remote work, office time, and on-site client engagements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate will be tasked with:
- Creating standard drawings for various project types, ensuring alignment with client requirements identified during the qualification stage.
- Consistently evaluating projects through a Value Engineering perspective to develop effective applications and strategies.
- Designing space plans that enable clients to visualize the overall project scope.
- Translating furniture plans into specifications for budgeting and order processing.
- Preparing final order documentation for client approval.
- Defining service scopes and identifying necessary professional services.
- Establishing project timelines.
- Participating in client meetings, site assessments, and inventory evaluations as needed.
- Collaborating with the internal project team to clarify roles, responsibilities, timelines, and key milestones to meet client expectations and project objectives.
- Working with Architects and Designers to ensure project details align with the overall vision while addressing client needs.
- Consulting with Engineers and Contractors to review and confirm electrical requirements as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will possess experience in an office furniture dealership or manufacturing environment, with expertise in technical systems furniture planning and application. A solid grasp of commercial interior construction, Provincial Building Codes, architecture, design, real estate, and contract furnishings is essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD (current version), 20/20 CAP, Z-axis, Revit, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required. The ideal candidate will be driven to learn and stay updated on the latest trends in commercial and healthcare design.
This role demands an organized individual with effective time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and maintaining focus on projects. A self-starter who demonstrates initiative, determination, and a commitment to achieving objectives will thrive in this environment. A strong customer service orientation and a client-focused approach are also critical.
