* Provide transparent visibility into team performance through regular reporting and performance metrics (weekly, monthly)

* Understand and integrate current, implicit, and future business contexts into resource allocation, skill development, and cost management decisions
* Collaborate closely with product management to prioritize and schedule activities that align with strategic objectives
* Responsible for ensuring their teams commit time to engineering-led innovation, ensuring early projects receive feedback, and fostering continuation or closure during PI cycles
* Ensure teams are appropriately resourced and escalate any resource issues to senior leadership.

Requirements:

* Over 8 years of experience leading cloud-based software development teams, with a proven record of building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional product experiences in high-growth environments
* Expertise in developing talent, fostering a strong team culture, and providing direct leadership
* Extensive experience in SaaS product development and building scalable data platforms, preferably on GCP
* A strong foundation in data and cloud engineering, including implementing data warehousing and analytics solutions
* Proven ability to lead high-performance data engineering teams, conduct analyses, and provide effective guidance
* Skill in communicating technical roadmaps and ensuring timely delivery
* Capability to balance business and technical priorities while maintaining high-level technical proficiency for effective team collaboration
* Ability to foster a positive team environment through empathetic leadership, build business and customer understanding, and empower team ownership
* Adaptability in methodologies to optimize systems, with a commitment to delivering innovative and robust solutions
