Job Title: Transportation Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Good Landstar Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the transportation and logistics operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operation of transportation and logistics services.
  • Prepare and submit reports on transportation and logistics activities, including metrics on efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery used in transportation and logistics operations.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work on transportation and logistics equipment and vehicles.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff to support transportation and logistics operations.
  • Train workers in duties and policies related to transportation and logistics.
  • Conduct performance reviews of staff to ensure they are meeting expectations.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure it is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies needed for transportation and logistics operations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of transportation and logistics equipment and supplies.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operation of transportation and logistics services.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation and logistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Work Environment:

The Transportation Logistics Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of transportation and logistics services.

Language:

The language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
