Job Title: Transportation Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Good Landstar Ltd.

Job Summary

The Transportation Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the transportation and logistics operations of the organization. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repair work, and resolving work problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to staff
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation logistics
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Windows
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
