About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at PRESIDENT CONVENTION CENTER INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the high standards of our clients.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and stored efficiently.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Cuisine Specialties: East Indian cuisine.
