About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at 3PL Hyperlink Logistics. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
    • Contact tradespersons for major repairs and maintenance, and work with contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas, including bathrooms, fixtures, and walkways.
    • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt, and empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Safety and Security
    • Perform regular safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our staff and visitors.
    • Identify and report any potential hazards or security risks.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and drywall repair.
    • Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 to 40 hours per week.
