We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker, Building to join our team at Clearrex Windows & Doors Manufacturing Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse from our factory and office building.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Make adjustments and perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and drywall repair.
- Work with minimal supervision, taking initiative to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas, ensuring a safe and accessible environment for employees and visitors.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are readily available.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills.
- Dependability, flexibility, and reliability.
Our factory and office building are located in a convenient location, with on-site amenities and parking available.
Language and Work TermThis is a temporary position, working 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
