We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Trader to join our Structured Equities Trading team at the Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for pricing and risk managing structured OTC products and notes.
Key Responsibilities- Pricing and risk managing structured OTC products and notes
- Collaborating with trading teams to ensure effective and efficient downstream reporting capabilities
- Providing support in managing the trade lifecycle and producing business intelligence reports
- Working closely with Quantitative Modelling, Global Operations, Market Risk, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of trading and note issuing activities
- Familiarity with equity and fixed income structured products and/or other financial products
- Understanding of database design for sell-side trading
- Knowledge of financial engineering concepts, pricing theory, and derivative models
- Understanding of key market, credit, and liquidity risk management concepts
- Knowledge of probability, statistics, and numerical methods for optimization problems
- Advanced programming skills in C#, Python, Flask, React JS, SQL
- Experience in producing business intelligence and risk reports
- Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, calculations, and the work environment
