About the Role

Ravina Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of your vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with dispatch teams to receive and relay information, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of cargo.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  • Navigation and Communication: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, and maintain effective communication with dispatch and other stakeholders.
  • Administrative Tasks: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as perform preventive maintenance and other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license, and undergo regular criminal record checks.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Language and Work Environment: Fluency in English, with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced transportation environment.
