About the Role

The ISG Business Unit of Lenovo is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Manager to join our team. As a leader in genuine innovation and smarter technology for all, we're looking for someone who can embody the Lenovo Culture and drive our communications strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that resonate within the technology sector, managing and communicating business unit results, strategy, and plans within the business unit and in collaboration with the corporate strategy and investor relations organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with technology partners, industry analyst groups, and regulatory bodies, acting as a primary contact for industry associations and standard-setting organizations.
  • Prepare quarterly earnings documents, interim and annual reports, scripts, emails, and newsletters to provide corporate transparency to investors and employees, complying with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations and internal requirements for company information disclosure.
  • Monitor and analyze technological trends, market developments, and competitor activities, providing insights and reports to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Organize various investor roadshows, analyst meetings, and large-scale visit events, actively collaborating with China IR personnel to develop events, and timely communicating with shareholders and potential investors to continuously increase the company's market value.
  • Coordinate internal and external communication efforts for product launches and major announcements, working closely with R&D, product development, legal, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and consistent messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, with a degree in a technology-related field being a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in industry relations, communications, or a related role within the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the technology industry and regulatory environment, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies, with experience in crisis communication and management within the tech industry.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tech-related projects.
