We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Operations Manager to join our team at Veg Delight Pizza Bakery & Restaurant Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our catering services, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, supervise and coordinate activities of staff, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Staff Supervision: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment, restaurant, catering firm, fine dining establishment, bakery.
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, team player, and ability to work in a team environment.
