GROUPE GERMAIN INC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Greet and register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Room Reservations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and balance cash and complete balance sheets.
- Customer Service: Respond to guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide assistance with special needs.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Technology: Utilize word processing software, internet, and other technology to perform job duties.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is an asset.
- Language: Bilingual.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with standing for extended periods.
