Electrical Engineer (Intermediate)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as an Intermediate Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and communications systems
  • Lead and contribute to the successful design, production, coordination, and management of electrical systems projects
  • Develop and maintain technical reports, tender documentation, and field support
  • Ensure that engineering deliverables comply with applicable regulations, standards, and corporate procedures
  • Review drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of technical information and project documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years' relevant experience in lighting and electrical systems design
  • Proven experience in electrical design of municipal roadway lighting and communications systems
  • Strong working knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code
  • Proficiency with engineering software, including AutoCAD, Microstation, Autolux, and AGI32 lighting design software
