Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at OPA of Greece. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, to ensure that our customers receive prompt and courteous service.

Train and Develop Staff

Train our food service staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide exceptional service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Hire and Manage Food Service Staff

Recruit, hire, and manage our food service staff, ensuring that they are qualified and able to meet the needs of our customers.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency in all aspects of our food service operations.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.

Knowledge of Culinary Genres

Have knowledge of our establishment's culinary genres, ensuring that our menu offerings are consistent with our brand and quality standards.

Supervise Assembly and Delivery of Food

Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that our customers receive their food in a timely and efficient manner.

Establish Work Schedules

Establish work schedules for our food service staff, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.

Work Language

English.

Work Term

Permanent.

Hours

35 hours per week.
