Job Summary

As an RPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care and promote a positive living environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
  • Manage medications, narcotics, and other controlled substances, adhering to established protocols.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
  • Clear Criminal Record check.

All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
