At MASO Recruit, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (R.P.N.) to join our dedicated healthcare team in a long-term care facility in Markham, ON.

We are looking for a licensed practical nurse with a passion for patient care and a strong commitment to delivering quality care to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 12 years of practical nursing experience, and be eligible for licensure as a practical nurse.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient progress, conducting specimen collection, and providing nursing services within the scope of practice.

The work environment is physically demanding and fast-paced, with a focus on standing for extended periods and handling large caseloads.

We offer a competitive salary of $28.00 to $35.00/hour (negotiable) and a flexible schedule with shifts available during the day, evening, night, and weekends.

Only Canadian residents or those with valid work permits will be considered for this position.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 12 years of practical nursing experience
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse
  • Completion of Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Exam
  • CPR & First Aid certificates
  • Criminal record check & TB test
  • Own transportation
  • Knowledge of Cantonese/Mandarin is an asset

Duties:

  • Administer medications and monitor patient progress
  • Conduct specimen collection and ensure infection control
  • Monitor nutritional intake and vital signs
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgery
  • Provide nursing services within the scope of practice
