About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team and contribute to our vision of ensuring energy, water, and urbanization are made sustainable for generations to come. As a Project Director / Team Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with industry networks and clients.
- Ensuring the team is functioning to deliver an enhanced client experience.
- Leading the growth and management of your team in line with GHD's core values.
- Developing, coaching, and mentoring team members.
- Scheduling and managing workload for the team.
- Retaining a safe working environment and culture within the team.
- Building effective relationships with other leaders and key personnel.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Professional Engineer, Professional Geoscientist, or Environmental Scientist designation.
- A minimum of 15 years' experience, plus 5 years' leading environmental teams.
- Post-graduate degree and/or PMP designations are assets.
- Experience with corporate strategic planning initiatives and a demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful strategies.
- Strong technical authority in contaminated sites assessment and remediation.
- Strong business acuity and commercial skills.
- Agile self-starter with a proactive, strategic, and creative approach.
- Exceptional client engagement and relationship skills.
