About the Job

We are seeking a Project Manager - Water Technologies to join our team in Ville St-Laurent. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and controlling the activities of project execution for the rental of mobile units to our clients. This includes coordinating the preparation of mobile units, coordinating and supervising the installation and demobilization of works, monitoring maintenance and operation activities on site, and monitoring customer relationships.

The Project Manager - Water Technologies will also work on internal projects related to the fabrication of new mobile units and will be responsible for coordinating maintenance and repair activities from our offices in Ville St-Laurent.

Occasionally, the Project Manager will be required to perform services and missions of assistance on project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall execution of projects carried out by the Mobile Units Service (rental and operation of mobile units);
  • Ensure leadership within the project team (work in collaboration with various technical teams - engineering, design, start-up, production);
  • Establish project schedules and track all project execution activities;
  • Monitor and update budgets, manage changes and addenda by project;
  • Document and obtain client approval for supplements and/or changes to contracts as they are executed;
  • Plan and supervise delivery, installation, start-up, and operation activities;
  • Provide necessary information for invoice preparation;
  • Establish and maintain a climate of trust with clients while protecting the business relationships that the company maintains with them;
  • Identify and correct client-related problems;
  • Ensure the application of quality standards and procedures (ISO);
  • Ensure that our supplies meet health and safety standards and apply health and safety procedures for operations;
  • Prepare monthly reports and project post-mortems;
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for mobile units;
  • Support teams on the ground from our offices in Ville St-Laurent in their maintenance activities, their need for operational materials, consumables, chemical reactants, or any other equipment necessary for operation;
  • Be on call 24/7 on a periodic basis to support teams on the ground;
  • Participate in the development of technical documentation related to our operations (SOP).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, hydraulic engineering, or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering and project management;
  • Construction site experience: possesses good practical knowledge in electricity, mechanics, and hydraulics, or is eager to develop them;
  • Bilingual (French and English 100%);
  • Leadership skills to manage a multidisciplinary team;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with various internal and external stakeholders;
  • Strong planning skills;
  • Focused on customer service;
  • Autonomous and responsible;
  • Computer skills: knowledge of an ERP is an asset;
  • Certification ASP construction is an asset.
