About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Flooring Supervisor to join our team at Crown Flooring and Construction Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our flooring installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of our flooring installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 employees, including tilesetters and floor covering installers, to achieve exceptional results.
  • Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Estimating and Budgeting: Estimate costs and materials required for projects and ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, promotions, and disciplinary measures, in consultation with senior management.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support project requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the construction or flooring industry.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job, requiring frequent travel to project sites.
