Operations Vice-President: Strategic Leadership and Management

Job Summary:
The Government of Canada - Central seeks an experienced Operations Vice-President to lead the development and implementation of organizational policies and programs. This key role requires a strategic leader who can allocate resources, authorize department establishment, and coordinate regional work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Establish objectives for the organization, formulate policies, and approve programs to drive business growth and success.
- Leadership and Management: Select and develop middle managers, directors, and executive staff, and create optimal working conditions to foster a productive team environment.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
- Representation and Negotiation: Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, and delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
Requirements:
- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: School or educational institution/establishment.
- Travel: Willing to travel.
