Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our team at South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and coordination of community-based care, secondary and tertiary level healthcare.
Responsibilities- Provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level healthcare
- Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
Remuneration is $250,000 per year (8 hours/day) for the full line. Call is an extra $500 per night on weekends (Friday - Sunday) and statutory holidays or $350 per night on a weekday (Monday - Thursday), plus fee-for-service billings for anyone seen after 5pm and before 8am.
Qualifications- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), or proof of alternative coverage
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
