About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Technician to join our team at Ampro Electric Ltd. as a key member of our maintenance and repair team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components to extend the lifespan of equipment and improve efficiency.
  • Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance and functionality.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
