Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at OEB Breakfast Co Ambleside. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
  • Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, as well as budget and cost estimates
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports on food order summaries and work schedules
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working on-site at our OEB Breakfast Co Ambleside location. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
