Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide clinical nursing care within a recovery model of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to patients with mental health and addiction issues
  • Work collaboratively with the Residential and Recovery Team Leader and Coordinator of Iris House, Residential & Recovery Services
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant
  • Two (2) years recent experience working directly in alcohol and drug treatment and/or mental health treatment
  • Knowledge of addiction treatment methodology and community-based programming
  • Knowledge of Mental Health and Addictions Co-Morbidity
