Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc O/A A & W Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our restaurant runs efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to boost and maintain profits
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor revenues and labor costs to make informed decisions
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
  • Recruit and manage staff to meet business needs
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning and inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:
  • Permanent position
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language required
