We are currently seeking a Java /J2EE Developer (Onsite) to join our dynamic team in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:


• Engage in multiple application projects.

• Generate innovative and creative solutions through analysis and interpretation.

• Deliver design and documentation at both application and functional capability levels.


• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of application standards and processes.


• Communicate effectively regarding application and technical direction to both business stakeholders and the IT organization.


• Provide guidance on systems integration, compatibility, scalability, and multi-platform considerations.

Essential Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in Java/JEE-Core Java development.


• Proficiency in at least one additional programming language (such as VB, C++, C#).


• Familiarity with coding, testing, and debugging applications.


• Knowledge of application configuration, maintenance, and support.


• Understanding of SQL.


• Ability to apply a broad knowledge of application programming and design to analyze and resolve issues.


• Competence in troubleshooting program errors effectively.


• General understanding of how technology decisions align with business needs.


• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
