Beryl Mining Services Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer/Civil Engineer to provide critical support to our mine waste and tailings management projects.

Job Summary
  • Provide geotechnical engineering expertise to support mine waste and tailings management projects
  • Conduct engineering data analyses and design work for projects at various stages, from scoping to detailed engineering and construction
  • Assist with planning and supervising geotechnical subsurface investigations
  • Support the development of geotechnical reports and technical communications
  • Collaborate with senior geotechnical engineers and managers to ensure project success
Responsibilities
  • Support geotechnical engineering activities for mine waste and tailings management projects
  • Conduct engineering data analyses and design work for projects at various stages
  • Assist with planning and supervising geotechnical subsurface investigations
  • Support the development of geotechnical reports and technical communications
  • Collaborate with senior geotechnical engineers and managers
Requirements
  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (geotechnical, civil, or a related field)
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in large civil earthworks construction mining-related projects, including field construction, performance monitoring, construction quality assurance, inspection, and testing
  • Proficient in engineering software (Geo-Slope; MineScape; AutoCAD; Microsoft Office)
  • Skilled in data interpretation, analysis, and correlation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team
