We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team at Knight Signs. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing support to our employees and management team in all aspects of human resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Staffing and Recruitment: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, provide information or services to employees, and prepare and post notices and advertisements.
- Employee Relations: Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, review candidate inventories, and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
- Selection and Examination Boards: Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, notify applicants of results of selection process, and prepare job offers.
- HR Administration: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes.
- Training and Development: Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training, and recruit and hire staff.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years, or equivalent experience.
