We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Northeast Engineering and Development ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare statements of earnings for employees, and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements.
- Financial Data Management: Store, update, and retrieve financial data, and maintain records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime.
- Benefits Administration: Prepare and submit documentation for administration of benefits, such as pension plans, leaves, and employment insurance.
- Communication: Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, and provide excellent oral and written communication.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a payroll or financial operations role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Accurate: Ensure accuracy in payroll processing and financial data management.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service to employees and management.
- Organized: Maintain organized records and files.
- Reliability: Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in meeting deadlines.
