About the Role:

Giant Tiger is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Softgoods Associate to join our team in Louiseville. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including softgoods products and services.
  • Restock and replenish merchandise as needed, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized sales floor.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a consistent and appealing store image.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs), and perform other physical demands of the role.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
