Business Process Improvement Specialist

Our valued public sector client is seeking a seasoned Business Process Consultant to drive health and safety culture improvement within their department.
The Health, Safety and Environment Branch is responsible for initiating, coordinating, and managing various health, safety, and environment initiatives, including the Make it Safe program. This program aims to transition the NRC from a reactive to a proactive state, where incidents are prevented rather than responded to.
As a Senior Reliability Cleared Business Process Consultant, you will:
- Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to analyze business functional requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop HSE Branch initiative plans and implementation strategies to enhance overall health and safety culture.
- Assist in the development of programs and/or implementation plans, including tracking and reporting tools, and contribute to the NRC's health, safety, and environment performance reporting.
- Manage data and build reports for various audiences.
- Have knowledge of occupational injuries in the federal government, particularly incident and injury reporting.
This is a part-time, remote opportunity with S.i. Systems.
