About the Role:
CB Canada is seeking an experienced Learning Experience Designer/Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, fully accessible, and engaging learning experiences that support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop comprehensive learning solutions that meet those needs.
Design and develop learning content, including instructor-led training, eLearning, and virtual classroom sessions, that is engaging, interactive, and aligned with our business objectives.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop learning content that is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to our business needs.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and emerging trends in the field of learning and development.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our learning solutions are innovative and effective.
Work closely with our IT team to ensure seamless integration of learning content with our learning management system.
Measure the effectiveness of our learning solutions and make recommendations for improvement.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure our learning solutions meet their needs and expectations.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning development, or a related field.
Advanced degree in instructional design, education, or a related field.
Proven track record of designing and developing high-quality learning content that meets business objectives.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and emerging trends in the field of learning and development.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an agile environment.
Instructional design experience supporting the financial industry on highly complex, transformational projects.
Adult Learning Certificate.
Product scrum owner.
