About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our maintenance team at our SAGD site in northern Alberta. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance checks on rotational equipment, including bearing housing checks, mechanical seal checks, and flange tightening.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance checks on all rotational equipment
  • Conduct bearing housing checks and mechanical seal checks
  • Tighten flanges and install and remove blinds
  • Isolate and prepare equipment for maintenance work, including lockout and bump testing
  • Clean equipment to remove staining and aid in detection of new leaks
  • Change-out filters and perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Interprovincial Industrial Mechanic or Millwright Journeyman Certificate (Red Seal)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical industrial testing or Millwright/Mechanical Industrial maintenance and/or related commissioning experience
  • Ability to work in both an office environment and operational plant environments
  • Valid driver's license in Canada, with good standing
  • Must speak, read, and write in English
  • Willing to travel for work (FIFO)
