Lead Front-End Engineer

Techedinlabs is looking for a skilled Lead Front-End Engineer with extensive experience in front-end technologies, specifically JavaScript and React . The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 6-8 years in the field, with a strong background in developing scalable and efficient applications, including at least 3 years of practical experience with AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in software design and architecture by implementing cloud design patterns and utilizing your cloud knowledge throughout the development process.
  • Engage in all phases of software development to create reliable, secure, high-performance, and scalable services for our clients using cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with software architects, UX designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to iteratively transform high-level requirements into product enhancements.
  • Provide technical mentorship to team members and project collaborators.
  • Promote a culture of data-driven analysis and informed decision-making.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support production services.
  • Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying and resolving performance issues and bugs.
  • Write and maintain code with a keen eye for detail, conduct peer code reviews, and lead technical design discussions.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of software development experience with front-end technologies.
  • Proven experience in building web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS, including end-to-end testing.
  • Strong familiarity with the JavaScript/Typescript ecosystem (build tools, package managers, frameworks, debugging tools, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud service providers and their features (we utilize AWS).
  • Proficient in developing product and user interface designs and collaborating effectively with designers.
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Ability to create reusable, composable, and extensible software components.
