Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team. As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing Rona's Pricing Strategy for each business category. You will work closely with various teams across the organization, including Merchandising, Finance, and Operations, to identify pricing opportunities and provide sound pricing recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Analyze market price fluctuations and propose recommendations to maintain a competitive pricing position in the market.
  • Pricing Strategy Implementation: Partner with the Merchandising team to align Category Pricing with the defined Pricing Strategy, providing advice and financial recommendations while identifying risks and opportunities concerning pricing.
  • Business Intelligence: Leverage available Pricing Analytics, Reporting, and Tools to understand market dynamics, identify pricing opportunities, and provide pricing recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Act as a business partner with Merchandising teams while being a facilitator with the FP&A Finance support team.
  • Pricing Awareness: Increase awareness and discussion of Pricing and Pricing Strategy throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing, with a strong background in retail or a related field.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information; strong problem-solving skills; action-oriented and timely decision-making; ability to quickly turn around and manage multiple priorities; high proficiency in Excel, Access, and related Microsoft software applications; strong attention to detail; demonstrated knowledge of advanced business reporting and ability to draw sound business conclusions from disparate data; proactive attitude with regard to gathering and verifying business and financial information; autonomy and ability to set priorities and achieve goals.
