Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician to join our team at Total Construction Solutions Inc. This role involves working in various settings and requires a strong background in electrical systems.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of College or CEGEP program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Work Environment

The position will involve working at multiple locations, providing a dynamic work experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests on electrical and electronic systems to ensure proper functionality, including continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, installations, and testing of switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
  • Service and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical and electronic control systems and associated devices.
  • Interpret and apply electrical code specifications accurately.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain detailed maintenance records.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to plan the layout of electrical equipment installations.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks effectively.
Experience Required

Applicants should have between 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
