Job Description: Data Architect

As a Data Architect at Astra North Infoteck Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data landscape. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data models and datasets that drive strategic insights and business decisions.

  • Strategic Data Advisor: Provide expert guidance and recommendations to stakeholders on data-driven strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Data Modeling Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices. Design, develop, and maintain advanced data models that support complex analytical needs.
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct thorough performance tuning and query optimization using industry-standard tools such as Performance Monitor and SQL Profiler to ensure efficient data access and processing.
  • Security Champion: Implement robust security measures for databases, safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and IT professionals, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of data modeling techniques, relational databases, and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
