Job Title: Data Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at CG Consulting Group. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage timelines and deliverables within the team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Design software solutions by collaborating with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff, and peers to understand requirements.
  • Develop solutions that align with client technology biases, deliver efficiency and scalability, and enable new trading activities.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Data Architect.
  • Experience in designing the vision and blueprint of an organization's data framework.
  • Expertise in Data Pipelines (PySpark, Hudi, Iceberg, Airflow, EMR), Data Operations (Operational Excellence, monitoring, troubleshooting), Data Quality (Great Expectations, AWS Glue DQ, Deequ), Entitlements (AWS Lakeformation), DevOps (Terraform, Git Actions), Consumption (AWS Athena, Trino), and Concepts (Data Mesh, Data Product).
  • Knowledge of Metadata (Neptune, OpenLineage, Angular, DataZone) and Infrastructure (AWS Data Eng. Services, AWS Compute Services, AWS Storage Service, cross-account IAM, RAM, MWAA, Step Functions).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Capital Market experience.
  • Knowledge of other tools such as JupyterLab and Databricks.
